The Matthew Project is a non-referral food bank service which the church began in June of 2020 as a measure to support our community in Nottingham as we lived through the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This project was kickstarted through the support of the Nottingham City Council as well as through

We take our inspiration from Matthew 25:35
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.
Our services are not limited to emergency food provision only, we also signpost people to other relevant agencies for help. Our services are open to everyone from the local community and beyond. More information about how the food bank works can be found here on the Trussell Trust website.
